synopsis
In this sequel to Romancing the Stone set in Northern Africa, Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas come back again as Joan and Jack, united and wandering the waterways on a boat. When bored author Joan gets an offer from a certain Omar (Spiros Focas) to come visit and write up his pending coronation, she takes off. Wrong move -- she ends up in prison. Meanwhile, Jack has teamed up with their old nemesis Ralph (Danny DeVito) to hunt down a jewel in Omar's neck of the desert. While Joan and a Holy Man (Avner Eisenberg) are escaping from prison, Jack and Ralph head their way, and soon all four will have to make a run through uncharted sands to save their lives.
